Finance Manager - UK
Ready to take charge of finance operations? As a Finance Manager, you’ll manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, playing a key role in supporting strategic growth in the UK Region.

To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Finance Manager in the Group Finance Department to join us in our Global Commercial HQ based in London.
Summary:
The role will ensure the timely and accurate capture of financial information necessary for effective management decisions, and in compliance with Local GAAP, local statutory laws and accounting standards, corporate policies/procedures and key controls. You will be supported by our central Finance team in London and Amsterdam and report directly to the Head of Finance in Amsterdam.
In this role you will act as a business partner for our UK market. On a daily basis you will be the Single point of contact (SPOC) for the region for finance related questions and work together with management team to support and challenge their daily activities. In this dynamic role you are in charge of the full financial scope.
What you'll do:
- SPOC for the region regarding finance related questions
- Responsible for the actuals, forecast and budgeting process
- Ensure that effective internal controls are established, maintained and monitored across the company. Coordinate and complete annual audits (external and internal).
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Monitor and analyse financial data and produce reports to the organization to share business insights and drive decision
- Validate business cases, deals etc.
- Project Management lead and support on a wide range of finance and company projects
- Safe guarding the integrity of the financial function
What you'll bring:
• Certified Accountant, University level education with a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting & Control
• Relevant work experience in finance, accounting and/or internal control
• Strong technical knowledge of an ERP (SAP), excellent Excel skills
• Excellent linguistic skills in English
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic to contribute to team goals with a strong desire for continuous learning
• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements
• Strong work ethic with a desire to drive improvements and achieve results
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our London Global Commercial HQ. This role will be Hybrid working, however there will be an expectancy to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office - EC1V
- Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in London without VISA sponsorship.
