To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel in the Legal Department to join us in our Global Commercial HQ based in London.

Summary:

As a Senior Legal Counsel at Group Lotus, you will work directly with the Head of Legal to support our commercial teams across the globe with a primary focus on the Middle East and Asia Pacific region. This role will be based in Central London but will also be an integral part of Lotus’ Global Legal Team.

What you'll do:

• You will be supporting the commercial business by providing advice on a variety of legal and advisory matters, as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, and communications with suppliers and partners.
• Practice areas will include a wide range of commercial contracts, with a primary focus on all aspects Distribution Agreement, Retail and After Sales Agreements, Procurement Agreements focusing on the supply of both Goods and Services, and related Sale & Distribution documents etc.
• Collaborate with other Lotus subsidiaries as well as external counsels across multiple jurisdictions in ensuring global product compliance and corporate secretarial matters.

What you'll bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have the following qualifications and skills:

• Qualified solicitor with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong expertise in Distribution and Procurement Agreements, with a proven track record of handling complex commercial contracts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Exceptional negotiation skills, especially in cross-border transactions.
• Well-organized, autonomous, and structured with a results-driven approach.
• A collaborative team player who takes ownership of tasks and enjoys working in an international environment.
• Experience as an in-house lawyer within a corporate group is strongly preferred, ideally within the automotive industry.

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our London Global Commercial HQ. This role will be Hybrid working, however there will be an expectancy to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office - EC1V
• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in London without VISA sponsorship.
