Finance Business Partner - After Sales Automotive

Summary:
You will be responsible for delivering quality financial support to the overseas After Sales division of a luxury automotive brand and ensure that timely and accurate financial information is clearly presented, explained, and effectively used to deliver the monthly reporting pack, annual budget, quarterly forecasts and longer-term strategic aims of the Group.
You will be responsible for ensuring consistent financial support to all colleagues, with a strong reliance placed on the production of monthly rolling forecasts, balance sheet reconciliation and cashflow management; with positive and adverse variances being clearly understood.
What you'll do:
- Monthly expense accrual, actual revenue & cost reconciliation and analysis
- Monthly Budget/FCST consolidation, variance explanation, submission on time and budget control incl. Opex/capex
- Monthly stock inventory reconciliation and management including inbound, outbound, stock counting report per SOX requirement
- Vehicle Warranty accrual / claims reconciliation / consumption analysis / Campaign activities finance support
- Regular/Annual warranty accrual amount review and approval process support
- Coordinate yearly parts and accessories price strategy and transfer price approval
- Work with counter party to deal with related-party transaction including warranty recharge, invoicing, payment etc.
- Dealer credit limit control and analysis
- Support Audit, Sox and Internal Control including auditing materials submission, process improvement and inter risk control
- Others to be required like system UAT support, dealer urgency parts shipment support, SAP reconcile etc.
What you'll bring:
Essential:
- You will have minimum 5 years experiences in business data analysis and must be ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant.
- Must have some knowledge of statutory reporting and of UK
Financial Reporting Standards. - You must be able to deliver effective services through collaborative working, being flexible and responsive, yet able to focus all parties on delivery.
- Posses strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to understand and handle complex financial data to support business decision making. You need to understand the specifics of retail and whole sale of automotive industry.
- You will liaise with all departments and companies across the group.
- Must have experience of financial planning and analysis in a complex business environment.
- You must have experience of undertaking and evaluating financial appraisals for new/existing activities or opportunities.
Desirable:
- Auto industry background will be desirable.

Additional Information:
- This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be Hybrid working, however there will be an expectancy to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the Coventry office.
- Travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
