HR Manager
Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world.
To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a HR Manager in the Group HR Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.
Summary:
This position blends the disciplines of project management, organisational design and development, global mobility, and HR transformation. The HR Manager will partner closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver HR strategy, policies, and practices, while ensuring compliance with global standards and supporting complex, EU-wide HR initiatives.
It is an on-site role, 5 days per week, based in Coventry
What you'll do:
Strategic HR & Transformation
• Lead and deliver HR transformation projects, ideally with experience in complex, EU-wide HR initiatives.
• Support organisational design and development initiatives.
• Ensure cultural alignment, engagement, and inclusion across regions.
Global Mobility & Compliance
• Manage global mobility programmes, including coordination with the Home Office to secure visas.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation across relevant jurisdictions.
• Work with the Home Office to obtain visas for employees and oversee mobility processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and facilitate communication.
• Act as a trusted advisor to management on workforce planning, organisational change, and HR priorities.
HR Delivery & Employee Lifecycle
• Oversee HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, reward, learning and development, employee relations, and HR analytics.
• Support managers in driving performance, capability building, and employee engagement.
What you'll bring:
1. Demonstrated track record of leading complex HR programmes from conception to completion.
2. Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment law across multiple countries.
3. Experience working in a global, commercial, or automotive environment.
4. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive change at all levels.
6. Strong intercultural communication skills; fluent English essential, additional European languages desirable.
7. Degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
8. Chartered CIPD (or international equivalent) preferred.

Additional Information:
• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time.
• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
