To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a European Finished Vehicle Logistics Planner in the Group Supply Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.

Summary:
The European Logistics Planner will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of cars across Europe, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and delivering efficient solutions for both road and sea freight. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent administrative ability, and the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

What you'll do:

• Plan and manage European logistics operations for road and sea freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and documentation requirements for international shipments.

• Maintain and update all relevant logistics databases in collaboration with the FVL Manager.

• Communicate effectively with 3PL suppliers to coordinate transport and resolve operational issues.

• Provide accurate and timely data to all business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and reliability.

• Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement.

• Work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

• Customs Expertise: Strong knowledge of European customs regulations and procedures.

• Freight Experience: Proven experience in both road and sea freight operations.

• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Administrative Ability: Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

• Communication: Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external 3PL suppliers.

• Teamwork & Independence: Capable of working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Desirable
• Previous experience in European logistics planning or a similar role.

• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance.

• Familiarity with logistics management systems and reporting tools.

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time. 

• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
