To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a IT Infrastructure Engineer in the Group IT Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.

Summary:

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, responsible for maintaining and optimizing network, server, and Microsoft 365 environments outside China. This includes ensuring system availability, security, and performance while supporting collaboration through M365 technologies.

What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Network & Server: Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices and servers (Windows/Linux), implement backup and disaster recovery, monitor performance.

• Microsoft 365: Configure and support Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, Purview, Entra ID; assist migrations; automate tasks via PowerShell.

• Security & Compliance: Apply best practices, configure firewalls, assist audits.

• Performance & Troubleshooting: Monitor systems, optimize configurations, respond to incidents.

• Documentation & Projects: Maintain documentation, support upgrades and migrations.

What you'll bring:

• Degree in IT or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience in network/server administration and Microsoft 365.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud (AWS/Azure).

• Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred).

Preferred:

• CCNA and Microsoft certifications.

• Previous experience of IT migrations.

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time. 

• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
