To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for an IT Support Intern in the Group IT Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.

Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Intern to join our IT team. This role will provide hands-on exposure to IT operations, business process management, asset lifecycle control, and end-user support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has strong analytical skills, and is motivated to contribute to daily IT service delivery.

What you'll do:

Business Process Management (BPM) Support

• Assist in documenting, updating, and maintaining business processes and workflows.

• Support process analysis efforts by collecting data, mapping current workflows, and identifying improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with IT team members to ensure BPM documentation remains accurate and aligned with operational needs.

IT Asset Inventory & Audit Support

• Support routine audits of IT hardware and software assets across the organization.

• Assist in maintaining inventory records, ensuring accuracy of asset locations, user assignments, and lifecycle status.

• Help track equipment check-ins/outs and ensure compliance with asset management procedures.

Onboarding & Offboarding Process Support

• Assist in preparing IT equipment and accounts for new employees (laptops, user accounts, access rights, etc.).

• Support account deactivation, equipment return, and access removal during employee offboarding.

• Help maintain related documentation to ensure onboarding/offboarding tasks are completed on time.

IT Ticket Analysis & Support

• Monitor the IT ticketing system and help categorize, assign, or resolve basic support requests.

• Perform initial troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues under guidance.

• Identify recurring issues and provide input on potential process or system improvements.

What you'll bring:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of IT systems, computer hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to accuracy and detail.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute within a collaborative team.

• Language: English/Chinese

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time. 

• Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
