To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Paralegal in the Group Legal department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Coventry.

Summary:

The paralegal will support the Head of Legal & Compliance, other Legal Counsels and the DPO in the team. The role will be based in Coventry but will also be an integral part of Lotus’ European legal team. The Paralegal will have working experience either in an in-house or private practice role.

• Supporting the Head of Legal & Compliance across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters

• Reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, including NDAs, supplier agreements and intercompany arrangements

• Assisting with the preparation of legal documentation and internal reports

• Handling day‑to‑day legal queries from the business

• Taking minutes of internal meetings and tracking follow‑up actions

• Monitoring and managing registered mail for various legal entities, ensuring timely escalation where required

• Providing general administrative support to the legal function

• Supporting company secretarial activities for UK and European legal entities

• Prior knowledge of data protection and privacy law is desirable

What you'll do:

Essential -

• It is not essential that you have completed the LPC to apply for this role but a minimum of 1 year experience as a Paralegal or Legal assistant in reviewing/advising on commercial contracts is required.

• Law Degree.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex matters in an easy and understandable manner.

• Results driven; validated experience leading strategic projects with ability to work efficiently.

• Intercultural awareness and an innovative mindset.

• Confidence to handle and escalate urgent issues.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential.

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time. 

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
