To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for an International Treasury Specialist to join us in our Global Finance team based in Coventry.
Summary:
The Senior Treasury Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing treasury activities across the UK and EU region, ensuring strong cash visibility, effective liquidity monitoring and compliance with internal controls. The role works closely with the Group Treasury team and regional finance teams, acting as a key contact point to support alignment with global treasury policies while addressing local operational requirements. This is a hands-on role within a lean structure, offering broad exposure to international treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment & Treasury Operations
Payment execution and governance
AP reconciliation review
Bank platform management
Cash positioning
Payment controls
2. Treasury Management Support
Support liquidity planning and funding activities
Support treasury policy implementation
Participate in banking relationship management
Support FX exposure monitoring
Support treasury risk and control activities
Prepare management reporting for Treasury leadership
3. Strategic Development
Lead treasury process improvement initiatives
Participate in treasury transformation projects
Support regional treasury structure optimisation
Act as deputy for Treasury Manager when required
Contribute to development of treasury governance framework
Performance Expectations
The following elements form critical performance indicators for this role:
Timely execution of payment runs
Accuracy of payment processing and AP reconciliations
Resolution of payment and reconciliation exceptions within agreed timelines
Compliance with payment controls and approval procedures
Effective collaboration with AP, Accounting and Treasury teams
Key Requirements
Essential
Demonstrated ability to take ownership beyond operational responsibilities
Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and decision-making capability
Desirable
Experience leading projects or workstreams
Exposure to treasury strategy, funding or banking negotiations
Experience mentoring junior team members
ACT / ACCA / CIMA qualification or progression toward qualification

Additional Information:
This role will be based at our Coventry office and will require being on-site full time.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
This role is up to 12 months on a contract, but could be extended.
This role operates within a lean team structure and may require a hands-on approach
Regular coordination across time zones may be required
Responsibilities are expected to evolve in line with business needs
This role offers significant exposure to regional treasury operations and provides development opportunities for progression into broader treasury leadership responsibilities.
