Sales Manager - France

To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Sales Manager - France in the Group Sales Department to join us in our Global Commercial site based in Paris.
About the role
Lotus Cars Europe is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and Aftersales of Lotus vehicles across the European region.
As we continue to grow the Lotus brand and our retail presence across Europe, we are looking for a Sales Manager France to join our Sales team, based in Paris.
As Sales Manager France, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and supporting the continued development of our retail partner network across the French market.
Working closely with our retail partners and internal teams, you will help deliver our sales strategy, identify opportunities for growth and ensure our network delivers against key commercial, customer satisfaction and brand objectives.
What you'll do
As our Sales Manager France, you will:
Agree annual sales targets with our retail partner network and support the delivery of the overall sales plan.
Continuously monitor sales performance against targets and develop appropriate recovery plans where required.
Identify sales opportunities within local dealer markets and work closely with Marketing to maximise their potential.
Build strong relationships with our retail partners, driving sales performance, customer satisfaction and adherence to Lotus brand standards.
Coach and support retail partners on Lotus sales processes and contribute to the continued professionalisation of our dealer network.
Support the recruitment and development of new retail partners and authorised repairers as we continue to grow our presence in France.
Drive the achievement of defined sales KPIs across the French dealer network and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support the rollout of new Lotus IT systems, tools and processes across the network.
Ensure retail partners understand and effectively adopt new systems and processes.
Work collaboratively with internal Sales, Marketing, Aftersales and regional teams to deliver our commercial objectives.
Provide regular market and network insight to support business planning and decision-making.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with strong automotive sales experience who understands the French market and knows how to build successful relationships with a retail or dealer network.
You will ideally have:
Significant relevant experience within automotive sales, dealer development or network management.
Strong knowledge of the French automotive market.
Experience working with and developing dealer, retailer or distributor networks.
A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both French and English.
Strong relationship management and influencing skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
The confidence to challenge performance and develop appropriate action plans where required.
A proactive, self-starting approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across an international organisation.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
It would be great if you also have
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Automotive Management, Finance & Controlling, Business Management or a related discipline.
Experience within the premium, luxury or performance automotive sector.
Experience supporting the growth or transformation of an automotive retail network.
Additional information
This role will be based from our Paris office and will operate within our flexible working policy.
Frequent travel across the French retail network will be required, so you will need to be able to travel freely as required by the role.
Candidates must have the right to work in France.

Additional Information:
This role will be working from our Coventry office. This role will be working on-site, full time.
Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship.
